[long,thin metal strip]
3/32" Square Nickel-Silver Wire

The 3/32" nickel-silve square wire represents the heart of the Square Wire Forming jewelry making system. Called "German Silver" by the jewelry trade, this metal wire is easy to work with, bend and polish. It takes a nickel or chrome plating very well. Be a bit careful, though, because like all soft metals it tends to ding rather easyily. It will be shipped to you in 6" lengths - unless you specify otherwise up to 1'.
3/32" Nickel-Silver Square Wire - $1.50/per ft. (Minimum Order-10 ft.).

[long,thin metal strip]
14-Gauge Brass Square Wire

When you're looking for a slightly daintier or refined look (especially for ring shanks), the 14-gauge brass wire should be used. It's soft rolled, easy to bend and work with - and takes a terrific polish. Because the wire is brass it will need to be gold leafed or plated - and polishing can be effective even with an ordinary jeweler's polishing cloth. The wire comes to you in 6" lengths unless you specify otherwise.
14-Gauge Brass Square Wire - $1.00/per ft.(10-ft minimum order)

[long,thin metal strip]
BezelBar

BezelBars are 145x1x4mm (about 6" long) brass strips finished with 14K GF. (Email if you'd like the bar to be 11.5" long)The bars represent the basic building component for the system because all the various parts are fastened to and/or attached to the bar which is shaped around the gemstone. A bar will make about four average sized cages.
BezelBars - $5/Ea.

[clip: simulated wire loops]
Half-Round Clip

The Half-round Clip is a key component in the Ribbon Wire WrappingTMtechnique because it holds a square wire onto a bar while providing a wire wrapped appearance. To make a "stack," "bundle," or "Cage" quickly, just hold a 20-gage square wire onto the top of a Cage and crimp HRClips into place strategically. Each clip also features a platform extension so the stone will rest flat. HR Clips come in three sizes to better accommodate Cage rounding and gem sizes: 1) a 4-wire loop; 2) a 6-wire loop, and 3) the 8-wire loop.

8-Loop HR Clip - $1.00/Ea.

6-Loop HR Clip - $1.00/Ea.

4-Loop HR Clip - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF platform bail]
P Bail

The P (for platform) Bail is useful when you create butted ends on a pendant or similar type of Cage. It's usually temporarily glued over the ends' intersection and then conventionally wire wrapped or soldered. This greatly strengthens the attachment while producing a pleasing, disciplined appearance.
$1.00/Ea.

[triple gem platform bail]
3P Bail

This platform bail which allows the installation of three 3mm faceted accent gems in their own 4-prong mountings lends elegance to any pendant design. The bail is temporarily glued to a butted end Cage (or soldered) and can then be conventionally wire wrapped for strength and appearance. It's a simple installation, but powerful in its contribution.
3PBail - $1.00/Ea.

[ring connected bail]
T Bail

The T (for tunnel) Bail allows you to utilize a jump ring or wire attachment for pendant installation. At the same time, the bridge between the small tunnel and the bail's opening can be filed or sawed out, followed by a diagonal saw cut in one side. This gives you a nicer, thicker standard snap-on bail, much more stylish than the thin metal stamped out varieties.
TBail - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF cabochon prong]
Cabochon Prong

The CProng mounts on the Cage and serves the purpose of prong setting cabochons as an alternative mount technique such as gypsy, bezel or wire gripping. It's holding strength is considerable because the item features not only a turn-down prong, but also a platform base extension. To set the prong, slide the cab's girdle into the channel opening, make certain the cabochon's base rests flat on the platform and then simly push down the prong.
CProng - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF faceted ge prong]
Faceted Gem Prong -14K GF

An FProng enables you to set medium to large faceted gems quickly and easily. It attaches to the Cage and once the gems girdle is fitted into the prong notch, the pre-shaped tip is merely turned down with either a spoon, wood pusher or pair of setting pliers. It's best to use four FProng's on a stone but you can get away with only three (see the ruby-amethyst pendant) so long as you provide some support under that part of the gem that lies beneath the bail.
FProng - $1.00/Ea.

[Silver F prong]
Faceted Gem Prong -Silver

This FSProng is the same as the above 14K GF prong except that it contains a triple thickness coating of silver. The small core is metal alloy which is why it doesn't qualify for a Sterling Silver description. The silver coating is exceptionally thick and permanent. It's a nice prong for making the famous two-stone mountings (gold and silver) popularized by Britain's Queen Victoria.
FSProng - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF 6mm mounting]
Horizontal 6mm Mount

A Horizontal 6mm Mount enables you to set small beads or cabs or, with Snap Tites, you can mount 6mm faceted gems. on a bezel strip so the gemstone appears on the bottom outside side of the upright Ribbon Wire strip. This finding is especially useful for dropping in an accent gem to dramatize a larger main mounting, particularly cabochon bezel mounts.
Horizontal 6mm Mount - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF 3mm mounting]
Vertical 6mm Mount

A Vertical 6mm Mount allows you to add a gemstone mounting atop an upright bezel or wire wrap. The channels grip the Ribbon Wire strip and the cavity accepts beads, small round cabs or faceted 6mm gems. Once mounted properly the gemstone will rest directly on top of the strip, open to the viewer's eye. The mounting scan be added as single conceits or in a strip.
6mm Vertical Mount - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF 3mm mounting]
Vertical 3mm Mount

This finding is a 3mm version of the larger 6mm Upright Mounting. It serves essentially the same purpose and is mounted the same. It attaches vertically to the Cage and then accommodates a tiny bead, round cabochon or 3mm faceted Snap Tite mounting/gem.
Vertical 3mm Mount - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF square top prong]
Square Line Prong

Straight line cabochon designs and faceted gems such as the emerald-square-pentagon cuts have always posed a bit of a problem for gem settings. The S Prong eliminates this hardship by offering a straight tip (see the blue topaz pendant). The S Prongs are slipped onto a straight, measured Cage and then crimped/glued/soldered once the Cage is shaped around the stone. Then the tips are pushed down and the job's done.
SProng - $1.00/Ea.

[faceted gem mountings]
Snap TiteTM Mountings

The Snap Tite mountings are proprietary and allow you to easily set various diameter gems merely by snapping the gemstone into the pre-shaped prongs. Ribbon Wire Wrapping™ makes extensive use of 3mm and 6mm round brilliant gems by offering receptacles or cavities where the mountings may be adhesively attached. Note: Be cautious of substitutes which lack the solid metal bottom (needed for gluing and soldering)

6mm Snap Tite Mountings - $1.00/Ea.

3mm Snap Tite Mountings - $1.00/Ea.

[triple gem mount]
Horizontal 3-6 Mount

The 3-Horizontal Mount offers many interesting design possibilities because it can function as a support or a featured conceit. It slips onto the Cage, is crimped, glued or soldered in place. Three 6mm faceted (or 6mm beads or cabs?) are fitted into Snap Tite mounts which in turn are epoxied into the 36H Mount's receptacles. A number of display illustrations on the website feature this versatile component.
36H Mount - $1.50/Ea.

[14K GF Cage Clips]
Cage Clip

The specialized Cage Clip is used in pairs, it's primary function that of holding a cage onto a length of BezelBar, a ring shank or a bracelet bar. The matching clips - one on each side of a Cage - are slipped on loosely to the shank and then the empty cage is locked into the clips' pylons. Once this temporary arrangement has been completed, the clips are locked in place and the completion of the stone mounting continues
CageClip - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF channel bail]
C Bail

The C (for channel fit) Bail allows you to secure butted Cage ends quickly and easily. Just insert each Cage end into the bail's channel, squeeze the Cage so the ends butt up and then crimp (a bit of solder is great security) the bail onto the bar's surface. It's installation is quick and generally needs no further enhancements.
CBail - $1.00/Ea.

[14K GF vertical gem mount]
6mm Horizontal Mount

Single Horizontal Bezel Mounts for faceted gemstones allow installation directly on the flat side of a Bezelbar or wire bundlel while offering a cavity which allows installation of a 6mm Snap Tite setting. As a featured stone, the component serves well on rings, ear rings, bracelets, etc. where a horizontal mounting is at its best. When used as accent gems, these mountings provide great aesthetic appeal in dramatizing the feature gems, particularly where they can be used singly or in a row or in matching pairs or as a line of gems.
Bezel 6mm Mount - $1.00/Ea.
